Diogo Noqueira, the singer and songwriter from Rio de Janeiro and one of the luminaries of Brazilian music with a name built over a 15-year career, with lots of love for music and samba in his feet, has arrived in Europe for yet another tour.

Heir to the master João Nogueira, the singer and songwriter and one of the greatest sambistas in Brazil, Diogo grew up surrounded by choro music, samba and a lot of beats in musical gatherings organized by his father at home, alongside great masters of Brazilian music. Samba music is in his blood, in his roots.  And it is in this fountain that Diogo found inspiration to throw himself in the world of music and conquer, step by step, the faithful audience that crowds his shows, whether in Brazil or abroad, while always introducing novelties in samba.

Diogo has already sold over a million and half records and all his works have been nominated to the Grammy Latin award, which he has won twice.  An eclectic artist, he has taken part in TV and radio shows in Brazil with enormous success.  Diogo has also given concerts in over 40 countries, and recorded a DVD in Cuba.  He has recently launched a video, “Samba de Verão” (Summer samba), entirely shot on a 500 m2 ferry boat in the Guanabara Bay, with Rio de Janeiro as a backdrop, featuring top names such as Zeca Pagodinho, Grupo Fundo do Quintal, and fellow partiers from the new Samba generation.

In February 2023, Diogo Nogueira will be back on international stages with his new tour “EurosambaTour”, which promises to heat up Europe with Brazilian musicality (which includes samba), among the most beautiful in the world. He will perform his greatest hits, such as “Pé de Areia” (one of the most asked for on Brazilian radio), “Clareou”, “Tá Faltando o Que?” and his most recent releases, “Flor de Caña” and “Deu Samba”, as well as other songs by great Brazilian songwriters.

The tour starts on the first weekend of February in Melkweg, Amsterdam (3rd February), continues in Festsaalkreuzberg in Berlin (4th February), then in the Electric Brixton in London (5th February). Then the tour goes for a presentation during the week at the Sala Apolo in Barcelona (8th February). It goes on over the weekend in Portugal, starting in Casino Estoril (10th February) then at the Carnaval de Ovar (11th February), and concluding at the Hard Club in Porto (12th February).
