Black Motion

Black Motion is a music recording duo, from Soshanguve (in the city of Tshwane), the group is made up of Thabo “Smol” Mabogwane (Percussionist) and Robert “DJ Rob Murda”Mohosana. They started releasing music online, in 2009, and soon captured the attention of dance music followers. This rapid success led to their singles being licensed for compilation CD by top DJs. These include Oskido, DJ QT, DJ Mmthi, Fresca, Dj Choice, Dj Black Coffee and Adil (to mention a few). Black Motion has also made inroads in the broader SADEC regions and has strong following in Angola, Botswana, Namibia, Swaziland as well as Zimbabwe. The duo has already earned a South African Music Award 2015 for Best Dance Album, a ChannelO music video award nomination, MTV African Music Award nomination, AFRIMMA and Five Metro FM award nominations.

On stage Black Motion blends DJ music spinning with live percussions that brings energy to any event. No Black Motion performance is ever same.

Due to the latest government guidelines on Wednesday 8th December 2021, we must ask all our customers that from Wednesday 15th December 2021 you will need to provide proof of double vaccination via the NHS app, or a negative lateral flow test taken within the last 48hours of the event you are attending.

On arrival to the venue please ensure you have your NHS Covid Pass QR Code available as we will scan your QR Code on entry.

If you have not taken a Lateral Flow Test prior to arrival or show proof of vaccination we have test kits available which we will ask you to take before entry to the venue is allowed.

Masks
While masks are not required to be worn if you wish to wear a mask inside the venue you can.

We will require all masks to be removed upon entering the venue so that ID checks and any security searches can take place.

Temperature Checks
We will continue to temperature check everyone coming into the venue.

Sanitising
Everyone will be required to sanitise their hands upon entering our venue. This helps us keep things safe.

Additional sanitising stations are in the toilet areas or by asking any of our employees who will have sanitiser behind all service areas and security points.

Venue Cleaning
On top of our enhanced cleaning procedures, we have also implemented Nordic Chem a Antimicrobial spray coating which is a monthly procedure. Nordic Chem coating is a mechanical kill that creates a very thin layer of “nano-spikes” that penetrate the virus/bacteria that meets the coating and thus killing it.

Social Distancing
The venue will not be enforcing social distancing but we understand the venue can get busy so we will be creating additional areas (at the front of the venue) for those who smoke or need some fresh air

Medic Assistance
Our medic is on duty at all events. If you become unwell during your time with us, please head to the medic room located on the ground floor and they will assist you. We also have Lateral Flow Tests at the venue so if the medic has any concerns with your well- being they will offer you the opportunity to take a test.

Employees of Venue
All Employees if not double vaccinated will be required to take Lateral Flow Tests.

Air Quality
The venue is blessed with extremely affective fresh air ventilations that is always circulating around the venue.

Payments & Cloakroom
We strongly encourage you to use contactless/cards if you can, to limit cash transactions.
